Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Series coming soon

Xiaomi has announced on its global social media channels that it will be launching the Redmi Note 9 Series. The launch will be through an online event, which will take place on April 30.

GMT+8(5:30pm IST) on April 30. The 
launc hwill be an online event and 
will be streamed live on Twitter
 and YouTube.

The official teaser doesn't provide 
any details about the phone, though
it shows the numeric “9” in the 
background to hint at the Redmi Note 9 
debut.

The announcement doesn't specify which devices will be launched, just that they will be from the Redmi Note 9 series. Currently, the company sells the Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max in select markets. Globally, the company sells the Redmi Note 9S, which is essentially identical to the Redmi Note 9 Pro, but there is no global version of the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max. This could change come April 30.

There are also rumors of a Redmi 10X, an upcoming mid-range smartphone from Xiaomi, which could be sold as Redmi Note 9 globally. We could see this being announced alongside the previously announced devices on the  april 30th.
